Welcome to Invoice Warranty Tracker ("we," "our," or "us"). This privacy policy explains how we handle data when you use our Android mobile application developed by AG Tech.

3. Data Storage - Your Device Only

All of the following data is stored exclusively on your Android device. We cannot access this data.

3.1 Invoice Information (Local Storage)

• Product names and descriptions
• Purchase dates and warranty end dates
• Invoice amounts and store names
• Categories and personal notes
• Invoice images (JPG, PNG)
• PDF documents

3.2 App Preferences (Local Storage)

• Theme settings (light/dark mode)
• Text size preferences
• Notification preferences
• Category customizations

4. Optional Google Services

4.1 Google Sign-In (Optional)

If you choose to use Google Sign-In for backup features, we request:

• Email address: Used only for authentication
• Profile information: Name and profile picture (displayed in app only)

We do NOT store this information on our servers. It's used only for Google authentication.

4.2 Google Drive Backup (Optional)

If you enable Google Drive backup:

• A folder "InvoiceTrackerBackup" is created in YOUR Google Drive
• Invoice data and images are uploaded to YOUR Drive account
• We request "drive.file" scope - we can ONLY access files we create, not your other Drive files
• We cannot access your backup files - they're in YOUR Drive, not ours

4.3 ML Kit OCR (On-Device)

We use Google ML Kit for text recognition:

• OCR processing happens 100% on your device
• No images or text are sent to external servers
• Works completely offline

5. What We DO NOT Collect

6. Permissions We Request

6.1 Camera Permission

• Why: To capture invoice photos
• When: Only when you tap "Capture Invoice"
• Stored: Images saved locally on your device

6.2 Storage Permission

• Why: To save invoice images and PDFs locally
• Access: Only app-specific storage (Android/data/com.ag_tech.warranty_tracker)

6.3 Notification Permission (Android 13+)

• Why: To send warranty expiry reminders
• When: 7 days before, daily reminders, and on expiry date
• Control: You can disable anytime in Android settings

6.4 Internet Permission

• Why: Only for Google Sign-In and Drive backup (optional features)
• Note: App works 100% offline if you don't use backup

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Google Play Services

• Used for: Google Sign-In, Google Drive API, ML Kit

7.2 Google AdMob (Ads)

• We display non-personalized ads via Google AdMob
• AdMob may collect device information for ad delivery
• We do not share your invoice data with AdMob

8. Data Security

• All data stored locally using Android's secure app storage
• Google Drive backups protected by your Google account security
• No transmission of data to external servers (except optional Drive backup)
• App does not have internet access to our servers (we don't have servers!)

9. Your Data Rights

9.1 Access Your Data

All your data is on your device. Access it anytime through the app.

9.2 Delete Your Data

• Local Uninstall the app or clear app data in Android settings
• Google Drive backup: Delete from your Drive manually

9.3 Export Your Data

Use the "Backup to Drive" feature to export your data to YOUR Google Drive as JSON.

10. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If a parent/guardian believes their child provided information, contact us to delete it.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
